About Zixi.

Biography

Zixi Wang is an artist and designer based in New York City. Her interdisciplinary practice spans fashion design, fashion illustration, drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media, experimental art and conceptual art.

Her interests include surrealism, the relationship between the body and objects, domestic and intimate spaces, material experimentation, and fashion as artistic expression.

Wang graduated from Parsons School of Design in 2026 with a BFA in Fashion Design and a minor in Fine Arts. She is currently pursuing an MA in Arts Administration at Columbia University, Teachers College.

Alongside her artistic practice, she is developing interests in curatorial research, art history, arts administration and cultural institutions. She is interested in professional opportunities within New York’s galleries, museums and cultural institutions.
